In history’s short list of legendary entrepreneurial goat herders, Kaldi is probably at the top. Legend has it he watched his goats nibbling coffee berries and dancing till dawn, and somehow this inspired Kaldi and some monks to put the kettle on. It took another thousand years before anyone thought to blend 100% fair trade organic cold brew coffee with spices, spring water and exquisitely pure New Zealand vodka but hey, we got there.
